Research on control theories and technics for active magnetic bearing, including nonlinear control, robust control, repetitive control, etc.

 

Dynamics of rotating machinery

Rotor dynamic theories in active magnetic bearing supported rotating machinery, including nonlinear dynamics, stability analysis, balancing theory, etc.

 

Fault diagnosis of active magnetic bearing

Predictive diagnosis of fault of bearing and rotor.

 

Machine learning

Machine learning theory, especially statistic learning theory, and its application in advanced condition monitoring and fault diagnosis in active magnetic bearing systems.
