Huaneng Shandong Shidaowan Nuclear Power Co., Ltd, the HTR-PM owner company, was established jointly invested by China Huaneng Group, Nuclear Industry Construction Group and Tsinghua University. |

The State Research Center for Nuclear Power Technology was set up ,focusing on R&D of key technologies applied to large-scale advanced pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plant and based in INET of Tsinghua University. |

The cornerstone laying ceremony of the Laboratory of Advanced Reactor Engineering was held at INET, which marked the beginning of the construction of the national key project research base. |

HTR-PM first concrete dumping. |
