Prof. Lu research interests are in the areas of advanced separation and analysis method and materials.

Microplasma electrochemistry (MIPEC)

(1) Microplasma as a kind of gaseous electrode for electrolysis.

(2) Microplasma for in-situ spectrum analysis (MIPECA) in molten salt.

(3) MIPEC for rapid synthesis of functional materials, such as polydopamine, carbon dots, MOFs, COFs.

Carbon nanomaterials for detection and separation

(1) Carbon dots composite materials for the detection and adsorption of radionuclides.

(2) Carbon nitride materials for photocatalysis-assist extraction of Uranium.

(3) Graphene oxide membranes for the separation of radionuclides in highly acidic waste water.
