On October 18, 2024, a joint delegation from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and PanMediso Holdings visited INET. The esteemed group included Prof. Li Guoxiang, Vice Chairman of the PolyU Council, Mr. Fu Zhancheng, Chairman of the Board of PanMediso Holdings, and Mr. Deng Liming, CEO of the firm.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Zhang Zhenzhong, Deputy Director of INET, who provided an insightful overview of the institute’s research activities and achievements. Dr. Li Junfeng presented the R&D achievements of INET’s Division of Environmental Technology (DET). Prof. Li Guoxiang highlighted the PolyU’s achievements in the field of nuclear medicine, while Mr. Deng Liming discussed the commercial plan of PanMediso Holdings. The visit fostered fruitful discussions on potential collaborative opportunities that could be explored by both parties.

After the discussion, the guests toured some of INET’s research facilities, including the 10MW high-temperature gas cooled reactor (HTR-10), the Nuclear Technology Application Laboratory, and some labs of DET. The exchange was further enriched by the participation of five other researchers from DET.
