Division of Reactor Physics,Thermal Hydraulics & System Simulation

This division, focused on modeling and simulation of reactor physics, and thermal-hydraulics and fluid mechanics, is responsible for the neutronics and thermal-hydraulics design and accident analysis of light water reactor and high-temperature gas-cooled reactor, and the development of real-time simulator of Nuclear Power Plant. Research topics include: integrated plant simulators, fuel load pattern optimization, advanced nodal method, severe accident analysis, actinide transmutation, modeling of pebble bed flow, etc.
