Division of Applied Chemistry
and Technology
Green process engineering is concerned
with the engineering technology of comprehensive resource
utilization under recycling economy rules in process industries
(such as chemical engineering, metallurgy, and medicine).
Since 1979, there have been many research projects in
this research field including state key projects, natural
science foundation projects and technical reconstruction
projects from enterprises. The primary focus of the research
includes new separation and purification processes for
rare metals (such as rare earths, gold, nickel, cobalt,
and germanium), medicine, naturally active substances,
waste recycling technologies, high efficiency liquid-liquid
separation equipment, and automatic feedback control technology
for extraction processes.
