Seawater Desalination Center

The center's research focuses on the thermal desalination process, particularly high temperature multi-effect distillation technology with vertical tube evaporators (VTE-MED). To commercialize the technology, a demonstration VTE-MED plant will be built in the center.

Nuclear Medicine Center

The Nuclear Medicine Center aims to provide opportunities to increase understanding and partnership so that the most promising nuclear medicine technologies can be effectively delivered to the people who need it most. The activities in the center are clinical evaluation and diagnosis, clinical research and experimental nuclear imaging.

Hydrogen Energy R&D Center

The center's main research covers production and storage of hydrogen for energy applications and the related issues. Various advanced fuel cells are under development at this center.

Magnetic Bearing Center

The Magnetic Bearing Center is an interdisciplinary mechatronic laboratory based on mechanical and electrical engineering, and computer science. The activities in the center cover the research and design for components of magnetic bearing systems, characteristics of magnetic bearings, rotor dynamics and magnetic control systems.
